The high school years can bring big changes. Teenagers are expected to manage more schoolwork, friendships, technology, emotions, routines, transport, community activities and growing independence.
For some young people, the ability is there, but they need extra support to put the skills into practice. They may understand what they need to do, but find it hard to organise themselves, start tasks, manage deadlines, cope with stress or feel confident in new environments.
At MoveAbout, we support young people aged 13–18 with range of developmental, neurodevelopmental, genetic, chromosomal and sensory-motor differences. Your child may have a formal diagnosis, be in the process of assessment, or simply need support to participate more confidently in everyday life.
