90 MINUTE ASSESSMENT
When starting therapy with MoveAbout Therapy Services, we always begin with an assessment of your child’s current abilities, challenges, and developmental and functional capacities.
For families new to occupational therapy, this involves an a 90 minute assessment session in our offices, and includes delivery of a full written report including assessment outcomes and recommendations for therapy.
60 MINUTE CAREGIVER MEETING
The first treatment session is a parent engagement session in which the outcomes and recommendations of the assessment are discussed. The therapist will begin to provide education and strategies to support caregivers to support their child.
ONGOING THERAPY COMMENCES
Therapy commences at the intensity that you and your therapist agree upon, utilising the approaches and tools that are best suited to your individual child and family.
